My name is Stella Horgan and I provide facilitation and short term coaching services. I help people actualise ideas and projects, bring them to life, and I work with individuals and groups to plan expansively, or to become unstuck.
I live in rural Limpopo Province, South Africa, in a wild place with equally wild creatures, enormous and magnificent mountains and the beauty of nature all around me.
I am the founder and director of Zingela Ulwazi Trust (Hunt for Wisdom), a non-profit social and environmental impact organisation. We run two projects : Permaculture Explorers, which provides training in business development and permaculture skills to rural South African women who are way below the international poverty line, and Sekwanele (Its Over.), which puts in place protection strategies for women faced with unrelenting violence. You can read more about our work here.
I also consult to companies and other NGOs as a facilitator and coach, and am a Senior Facilitator of the internationally acclaimed Hoffman Process, a member of the UK team.
Before I returned to South Africa in 2012, I lived in Australia for 12 years where I ran a private practice in Melbourne, Victoria specialising in counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, workshop facilitation, project management and the Demartini Method. I also facilitated the Hoffman Process in Australia for several years.
Here in the bush I am devoted to nature and spend as much time as possible in wilderness. I love walking and have a committed, much loved art practice.
